The BMW Group Archives prepare information on the company, brand, and product history and makes the data from the era of the company's foundation to the year 1977 accessible. More recent data is gradually being released. This includes, for example, company reports, BMW plant journals, pictures, events and lots of information on all products with their technical and historical data.

A picture search function designed specially for the database provides you with additional functions, such as light tables and a shopping basket system for ordering images.
